A powder tank semi-trailer with an engine is a special vehicle equipped with an auxiliary engine (also called an auxiliary engine or power unit) on the powder tank semi-trailer. This design is mainly used to provide power for various equipment (such as air compressors, mixers, etc.) on powder tank trucks to perform operations such as stirring, fluidization, and unloading of materials during transportation. The powder tank semi-trailer with engine is also equipped with an independent auxiliary engine in addition to the traction power of the main vehicle. This engine is usually installed on the side or rear of the trailer and provides power to various equipment on the trailer through the transmission system.
During transportation, the main vehicle provides traction power for the trailer, while the auxiliary engine provides power for various equipment on the trailer. When materials need to be stirred, fluidized or discharged, the auxiliary engine will start and drive related equipment to work. The compressed air generated by the air compressor fluidizes the powder and granular materials and suspends them in the tank, and then transports the materials to the designated location through the unloading device. Agitators are used to maintain uniformity of materials during transportation.
